Biography

Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah is a distinguished Nigerian Islamic scholar, jurist, and respected community leader, widely recognized for his contributions to Islamic scholarship, legal thought, and the advancement of Shariah in Nigeria. He is a prominent figure within the Supreme Council for Shariah in Nigeria (SCSN), where he has played a vital role as one of its founding members, contributing significantly to the Council’s vision of promoting the application of Shariah, strengthening unity among Muslims, and providing principled guidance on matters affecting the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria.

Sheikh Abdulwahab Abdallah pursued his early Islamic education through the traditional Qur’anic system, where he acquired a strong foundation in Qur’an memorization and classical Islamic sciences. He later advanced his studies in Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Usul al-Fiqh (principles of jurisprudence), Hadith, and Arabic language, benefiting from the tutelage of renowned scholars within and outside Nigeria.
