The Supreme Council for Shariah in Nigeria (SCSN) has expressed outrage over the recent killings of innocent citizens at Angwan Rukuba in Jos, Plateau State, describing the incident as a grim reminder of the fragility of human life in the country.
The Secretary General of SCSN, Nafiu Baba Ahmad, said this in response to a recent report that a United States Congress committee submitted to President Donald Trump.
The reintroduction of Shariah in Nigeria at the dawn of the Fourth Republic stands as one of the most defining developments in the country’s contemporary legal and socio-political landscape.
